To view this drawing as an 11" x 17" PDF file, click here To bring power from the electric meter in the NW alcove to the substation on the north wall of the workshop, use metal conduit along the ceiling of the first-floor west bay, as far as possible away from the bonus room, to shield anyone in the bonus room from the electromagnetic radiation emitted by these wires. Any wiring along the walls will also need to be enclosed in conduit because the wall cavities will not be covered with drywall that would protect the wires inside a wall. Any conduit near the bonus room shall be metal, all other conduit can be plastic. The electric oven shown near the west wall of the work shop is owner-supplied. |

If it does, install it there, and add an 18-inch or larger louvered vent in the east gable to draw in cooler air.
